The EA Salary Surveys are LIVE
This is the third year of the EA Salary Surveys. If you’ve not heard about them - where have you been??
The EA Salary Surveys are the most comprehensive guides to EA salaries out there right now. They are undertaken by me, Yvette, and Alicia from EA How To.
For the last two years, our reports have given insights into not just the average salaries across regions in the UK, US, Australia and Canada (Canada was added last year) but what things move the needle when it comes to job satisfaction.
What benefits really matter to people?
How much annual leave makes a difference?
What is making people look for new roles?
What makes these reports different?
We know there are loads of reports and surveys out there. It can be confusing which ones to read and take notice of.
Well, here’s the thing. Many of these reports are completed by recruiters. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that. However, these recruiters are typically limited to the clients they support. If it’s a high end recruiting firm who focuses on senior level roles, then their audience is likely to be this calibre of people. The same applies for those recruitment firms that focus on temp roles, or roles specific to a certain region. So the data can be skewed towards those respondents.
Our survey cuts through all of that. Our collective network spans continents, and tens of thousands of assistants. The wider the net, the better and more comprehensive the data.
We have had more people than I can count reach out to Alicia and I directly to tell us that they have used our reports to get the recognition they deserve in their organisations. Why? Because:
without data, you are just another person with an opinion
This year being our third year (for UK, US and Australia), we will be able to tell the stories of what is happening over time. In what direction are things moving?
Are we getting happier?
Are more or fewer people looking to move roles?
Also new for this year - we are asking people if they would like to take an optional second set of questions around roles and responsibilities, including the use of AI.
We are asked a lot about what makes up the salaries that we receive - and this year we will be able to tell you!
So how can you help?
If you are in Australia, Canada, the UK or the US, please take the survey! That’s it!
