We run zillions of processes - how can we draw them out so others can follow them?
There are many reasons why companies should be mapping out all their business processes. From business continuity to training, there's never a bad reason to get them all down into a lovely flow chart. As assistants, there are dozens and dozens of processes that we work on every day. They can form part of your Employee Handbook, your Employee Onboarding Pack, or even your Business Binder.
Process maps can be used as a reminder for yourself for processes you don’t use very often; they can be used to help your colleagues learn; and they can be the starting point to making the process better.
